I am Angela Davies; I started Contented Pets in November 2007 and have over 100 clients. I have always had a love of pets from a young age, growing up with a Springer Spaniel called Shandy, I always felt I missed my vocation in life. I have a dog called Jack who arrived in August 2009. Jack has been a dream with the young dogs that come to stay as they now have a play mate when dogs visit on their holidays.
I am a dog walking, dog holiday visits and cat feeding service. I am licenced by the local authority to have two dogs from the same home plus one other stay in my home at any one time. Booking with plenty of notice is advised so not to be disappointed. I mostly walk one or two dogs on each walk. I walk along the canal, along the Usk River, Castle Meadows, the Deri, the Skirrid, the Blorenge and the old train track at Llanfoist to Clydach.
Cats are much happier staying in their own home environment. I feed and water, change the litter, give plenty of cuddles, strokes and brush if required. You also have the added security of me keeping an eye on the house whilst you are away. I move the post from the front door, water plants on request, open and close curtains for you.
I have a lady called Beulah, who now covers the Llangattock/Crickhowell area who started in October 2010. Her services cover, dog walking, dog holiday visit, cat feeding and small animal care. I now have two other people working for me who are also licenced to have dogs stay on a home from home basis.
In 2011, I took on two ladies to help me with Home Boarding and dog walking. Deborah with help from her husband Rob, have dogs staying in their home. They have a fabulous garden and the dogs that stayed love pooching around in the sunshine. Tracey also does Home from Home Boarding and dog walking throughout the day. Tracey is also in the process of completing a dog behaviour course, which she is able to help owners with some training if requested.
I take pride in my business and with our appearance. We wear a uniform so that we are visible to the public. We are fully insured with Public Liability, Pet Walkers and CRB checked. My vehicle is also insured for business use and to carry up to 6 dogs at one time.
The business operates 7 days a week from 7.30am to 8pm Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday 9.00am to 5.00pm.
