I started A Dog’s Best Friend, as dogs are my passion, and I truly adore each and every dog, no matter what size or breed they are. I know I wouldn’t hire a Dog Walker that I couldn’t trust to look after my dogs when I am not there, so this isn’t just a job for me, it is what I love!

If you are anything like me, your dogs aren’t just your dogs, they are your babies, your best friend and they mean the world to you. I love my dogs as if they were my children and I only want the best for them, and so this is why I have established A Dog’s Best Friend.

As a lifelong Dog Owner, and having grown up around dogs, and currently owned by 3 of the little terriers, you will have peace of mind, knowing that yours are in safe & caring hands, with someone that truly loves dogs.

I do not use vans fitted with cages as this is not how I would want my boys to travel, I believe that dogs should be able to look out of the windows, so I use my own vehicle [4 x 4] that has a Dog Guard for the larger breeds, or dogs that are more comfortable travelling in the back of a car, or your dog will be transported and harnessed in safely on the seats, or if you have alternative preferences then this will also be accommodated. Your dog is never transported in my vehicle for more than 30 mins before or after their walk.

I work to your dogs needs, not my own!

I walk dogs 7 days a week, 365 days a year, whatever the weather [except Thunderstorms, for the dogs own sanity!] and each of my walks will always be loads of fun & exercise for your dog.

Home Visits: For the elderly dog that just needs to be let out in the garden, fed & fresh water given if you want an evening out, working late, or you just dont want to leave your pet for too long....

Puppy Care: Basic training and clearing up any little accidents while your out, and giving your puppy lots of important attention & playtime
